Description
What is Adaferin Gel 0.1%
Adaferin Gel 0.1% contains adapalene the same as Differin, and it is manufactured and sold by the Indian pharmaceutical company Galderma.
Differin gel is a generic version of Differin, which is used to treat acne vulgaris.
adapaleneis a third-generation retinoid and is the only therapeutic drug in that has the same effects as vitamin A derivatives. This medicine is used to treat inflammatory skin diseases caused by bacterial infections, such as acne that forms in the pores of the face and back (acne vulgaris) .
It is an ointment type that spreads easily on the skin and can be used for early acne and inflamed acne .
However, since Differin Gel is a drug that suppresses inflammation, it has no effect on reducing the bacteria that cause inflammation.
If you want a higher effect, it is recommended to use it in combination with a drug that has antibacterial effects.
Effects of Adaferin Gel 0.1%
Skin turnover is promoted by a protein called transglutaminase.
Turnover is a necessary function to improve skin problems.
However, when dead skin cells are pushed to the surface of the skin due to skin turnover and clog pores, bacteria can easily breed.
If this is left untreated, it will worsen into various types of acne, including non-inflammatory skin lesions (whiteheads and blackheads) and inflammatory skin lesions (red acne).
Differin Gel is said to be highly effective against whiteheads where pores are clogged with sebum.
By treating whiteheads, which are the early stages of acne, you can reduce the chance of redheads becoming inflamed, which in turn helps prevent acne scars such as craters and pigmentation.
Differin gel is also effective against adult acne, blackheads in pores, and strawberry nose.
Adapalene, the active ingredient in Differin Gel, inhibits the synthesis of transglutaminase.
By reducing the amount of dead skin cells, pores become less likely to become clogged, which can be expected to prevent acne.
How to use Adaferin Gel 0.1%
Apply once a day after washing your face and before going to bed.
Please use the following steps: wash your face → moisturize with lotion, perform skin care → Differin gel.
Differin gel temporarily lowers the skin’s barrier function, making it more prone to peeling and dryness, so it is important to moisturize thoroughly .
Timing of use
After washing your face, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once a day before going to bed.
When applying to the affected area, apply it externally by spreading it thinly over the entire surrounding area, including the affected area (acne).
Precautions for use
You may feel irritation while using Differin Gel, so please take sun protection measures such as applying sunscreen.
Avoid exposing the affected area to sunlight.
If you apply it in the morning and are exposed to sunlight, you will be more likely to get sunburned, which can cause age spots and pigmentation. Be sure to apply Differin Gel before bed.
