What is Forcan 200mg
Forcan 200mg is an antifungal drug developed by Cipla.
Effects of Forcan 200mg
Fluconazole, the main ingredient in Forcan, has the ability to inhibit the growth of fungi (mold).
Fluconazole belongs to the azole family of antifungal drugs and interferes with ergosterol, a component of fungal cell membranes and enzymes. This medicine inhibits the action of ergosterol , a substance that makes up the cell membrane of fungi that causes skin mycosis , lowers blood testosterone levels, and suppresses the production of fungal cell membranes.
It is especially effective in suppressing the growth of fungi such as candidiasis and athlete’s foot.
Because it is an oral medication, it is effective in treating deep-seated mycoses that infect deep inside the body.
Although it has the same effect as Diflucan, it can be purchased at a much lower price than Diflucan, making it excellent in cost performance.

How to take Forcan 200mg
Timing of taking

Caution when used together

- Prolongation of warfarin prothrombin time and bleeding may occur.
- Phenytoin, ibuprofen, flurbiprofen blood concentrations may increase.
